5. Intellectual Property

All AccountaMate software, branding, designs, content, interfaces, technology, and services are owned by or licensed to AccountaMate and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, reproduce, or exploit any part of the platform without written permission.

You retain ownership of content you create, including journal entries.

You grant AccountaMate a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6. Subscription & Billing

Pro Plan

AccountaMate currently offers:

Pro Plan — $49 USD per year

30-Day Free Trial

New users may be offered a 30-day free trial.

To start a trial, a valid payment method may be required.

By enrolling in a free trial, you authorize AccountaMate and its payment processor to charge the applicable subscription fee when the trial period ends unless you cancel before the trial expiration date.

No charges will be applied during the trial period.

Subscribe Immediately

Users may choose to purchase a subscription immediately without using the free trial.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew annually unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You authorize AccountaMate and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method for renewal fees.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through your account settings or applicable App Store or Google Play subscription management tools.

Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not affect the current subscription period.

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or in cases of verified billing errors.

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Features may be modified, suspended, discontinued, or updated at any time.

AI-generated content is intended solely for inspiration, accountability, and self-reflection.
